Our charming Vancouver eyebrow threading studio has garnered a loyal following from across the Lower Mainland (including gorgeous local celebrities like Dawn Chubai and Fiona Forbes (see below)), but some hesitate to make the trip to Coal Harbour even if they are curious to find out if Blink Brow Bar lives up to the hype (we do!).
The thing is that our clean, bright, and tranquil brow bar is one of many interesting businesses located in this downtown Vancouver neighbourhood. Coal Harbour is great place to spend a few hours or a whole day exploring.
Want to start your day with a bellissimo breakfast and Italian coffee perfection before you get your brows shaped expertly at Blink? We are simply full of amore for Giovane Café, a gourmet Italian eatery tucked into the Fairmont Pacific Rim at 1038 Canada Place (Cordova Street entrance).

While they also offer exceptional lunch and dinner menus as well as pastries and specialty grocery items, it’s a lovely way to start a day (especially if you’re from out of town – or just want to treat yourself – and enjoy a weekend at the Fairmont!). You can always arrange for one of Giovane Café’s gourmet packed picnic lunches to take along as you explore Stanley Park, walk the seawall, or eat al fresco overlooking Burrard Inlet.

Once you look more fabulous after enjoying our eyebrow threading and brows or lash tinting services, there are many places to go explore solo, with family, or with that special someone for an awesome Coal Harbour date.
Rain or shine, the wonderful art under foot walking tour through the Downtown Vancouver business district is a fun way to get to know our beautiful city better. As you find your way to 22 different carefully crafted mosaics, you explore the cityscape while discovering the rich diversity of the city’s culture, arts, personalities, sports, nature, and architecture. There is a lovely little park at the corner of Alberni and Bute called The Perch that really comes alive from May to September on weekdays, when it offers music and a farmers’ market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. It’s always a nice place to sit and rest or people watch.
If you’re more shop and browse kind of #Blinkbeauties, you must stop by the Vancouver Escada store at 710 Thurlow Street. You’ll find everything from the top trends for casual to formal wear to all the season’s must-have embellishments.

Rainy or not, Burberry Vancouver is always worth a visit. You find this 159-year-old brand in the Shangri-La Hotel at 1101 Alberni Street. While they are well-known for their ubiquitous British trench coat, they offer so much more for men, women, and children’s clothing. Not to mention their beauty department, scarves, and gift selections!
Don’t worry if you’ve worked up an appetite: Downtown Vancouver has countless eateries. One that works for both carnivores and vegetarians is the popular Meat + Bread Pender at 1033 West Pender. If you are looking for a quick and easy meal, they offer four sandwiches daily, one of which is a weekly vegetarian special, as well as soup, salad, dessert, and drinks.
If you feel you’ve earned a treat, we love the delicious handcrafted gelato at Bella Gelateria at 1001 West Cordova Street. They offer inspired flavours including Lavender & Earl Grey, Matcha Green Tea, and Akbar Mashti alongside more traditional tastes like Amarena Cherry, Dulce de Leche, and Tahitian Vanilla. Did we mention the delectable berry sorbettos and mouth-watering cakes? You simply must reward yourself with a stop here.
